Winter-March Snowman Contest

• Build a snowman and post a picture to our Facebook page to be entered to win a small, but fun prize. Great for kids! All entries due 3/20/25

Spring Easter Egg Hunt

• Saturday 4/12/25. Kids will hunt for candy-filled eggs by age group and visit with the Easter bunny. Cookies and juice are provided.

Food Trucks – Cumberland Park

Back for 2025! Food trucks will begin bi-weekly on Tuesday’s on Cumberland in front of the Cumberland Park sign starting May 6, 2025 at 7:30 – Full list of trucks available via link listed, come support your community and local businesses!

  June Garage Sale
• June 19-21, 2025, Subdivision Garage Sale is usually Thursday thru Saturday after Rochester Community Schools gets out. Subdivision provides some local advertising, this is for everyone. No need to sign up.

Summer Patriotic Bike Parade & Movie Night
• Saturday 7/12/25. Come join in a bike parade starting at the Cumberland entrance at Hamlin. You can decorate your bike/wagon/scooter if you want. A fire truck leads the way down to the Cumberland Commons where the subdivision provide cold treats.

Come back later that night to the Cumberland Commons for a family-friendly movie night on a giant inflatable screen. Bring a blanket or chair. Popcorn is provided.

August Landscaping Contest
• Judging by the board with a typical deadline of August 30,2025. Show off your beautiful front yard landscape and win a great gift certificate prize. Typically 5 winners chosen. To enter, email those beautiful pictures to cumberlandhills@gmail.com

August Kindergarten Round-Up
• If you have an incoming kindergartener or kids new to Hamlin in the fall, come meet up at the playground! We supply some dates in August for families to meet up at the Hamlin playground for those that want to participate.

September Fall Festival
• September fun! Grab the family and head to the Cumberland Commons on 9/20/25 for an afternoon fun! The subdivision provides inflatables, petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, hot dogs, popcorn and more! You do not want to miss this one.

Halloween Decorating Contest
• Two weeks before Halloween. Send in pictures of your festive and ghoulish Halloween decorations to cumberlandhills@gmail.com  Winners to be selected at the November subdivision meeting.

December Holiday Light Contest
• Just keep your incredible holiday lights on during the two weeks before Christmas and our judges will automatically enter you into the contest. We drive around the neighborhood and check out everyone’s display. The top 5 displays win a great gift card. (Homes can only win once every 5 years).
